Elena has presented at numerous national conferences, published papers and has engaged with policy makers on whole person care and social care delivery.

Elena was research partner on a RWJF Systems for Action Grant awarded to Stanford University’s research team to study the health and economic impacts of Healthy Alliance’s novel social care network. Elena, along with Stanford and Healthy Alliance team, published a case study in NEJM Catalyst Innovations in Care Delivery, May 2023, titled “Breaking down barriers between health and social care services: Implementing a Social Determinants of Health Network.” She also presented on the RWJF Systems for Action Panel SDOH Panel 1: What is the Current State of Affairs for SDOH.
